This is a combo-amp. I used poplar, instead of pine, and stained it a little darker. I also got to play with Grille cloth, which was a lot of fun. Since it is a combo, I only made it with one 10" speaker and only an 8-ohm output. I liked the chickenhead knobs so much I used them again. I had to order parts from four different sources to build this amp, not counting the local hardware stores (three of them!).
Wood furniture, wood floors, wood amp! This little guy really rips it up with some good clean sounds (and some 1970s distortion too). With only one speaker, I can tell that it is more directional, and not as loud.
You can hardly tell that these filter caps were backward. I almost fried them.
